At Valencia Trading Office, we have a Compliance program, ensuring that our operations are conducted within the corresponding legal and ethical framework. We navigate through various phytosanitary, customs, tax, labour, and anti-corruption regulations.

At METRO, we have a deeply rooted compliance culture that allows us to prevent legal risks, ensure the traceability and quality of products, protect the company's reputation, and promote sustainable business relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

Our compliance system is based on the fundamental principles that are part of our DNA and demonstrate our commitment to our stakeholders.

Acting against our business principles will not be tolerated by our community or by our company.

We encourage all our partners to speak up and report observed risks or actual or suspected misconduct through, the internal reporting channel (local Compliance Officer) or via the web-based Whistleblower System. Reports can of course also be submitted anonymously.
